During today’s wanderings through the Grove you pass through two trees bowed together, almost creating a doorway, you immediately stumble and trip as your foot catches in the entrance to a small burrow. As you pick yourself back up and see a rabbit you must have startled fleeing in the distance, the underbrush covering its tracks. The trees begin to move with the wind, beckoning you forward, and when you turn to look the path behind has disappeared. With no other recourse you decide to continue your exploration, and soon you're marveling at a large tree with bark swirling in almost rune-like patterns with dozens of mushroom varieties growing around it and up the trunk. With surprise you notice a tiny sign in the earth between the roots, next to some particularly bright colored mushrooms. "Eat me"? What could that sign possibly mean? Quickly you spot another one next to another extraordinary fungus that says "Drink me". With a laugh you lean back against the tree and find a third mushroom poking you in the rear, it almost seems like it moved to do so! As you try to puzzle this out you miss the third sign, "Sit on me", and the dryad giving life to this little portion of the Grove smirks.
