The sound of hoofbeats musically echo from large flat boulders as a strong figure approaches the cliff side to look out over the Grove at dawn. He cuts an impressive  silhouette with his well muscled human torso meeting at the waist with the thick powerful body of a horse. Utun the centaur looks upon the rising sun and his face reflects the serenity of the moment, shaggy mane swept back in the early morning breeze. With a shy smile to himself and the reassurance that all is quiet, he kneels on the warm stones and makes himself comfortable. Reaching between the rocks into a small secret hollow, he pulls out a thick well worn book. His eyes softening with serene pleasure, Utun dives into familiar tales, where the sturdy solitary centaur finds the companionship of characters he knows well.
